A Home Remodel - Lake Chatuge
Whoo Hoo! After looking at LOTS of houses, we found a wonderful “diamond” in the rough. And let’s just say that it is really really rough! But… it’s got great bones and it has a wonderful “feeling” and juju in this house. We found out the original (and only) owner was a huge dog fan and left her entire estate to the humane society upon her death. This means that what we paid for this house was donated to the local animal shelter. How great is that? Especially since we have three rescue dogs of our own and feel very passionately about rescue animals. :). We ended up keeping a Humane Society coffee mug with her name on it as a tribute to her memory in addition to a white statue of dogs in the front of the house. Not the prettiest but is is for Marie so it’s ok. Here are a few photos of the house “pre renovation”. We bought it as a 3/2, 1700 square feet and are renovating it to be a 4/3 and 3400 square feet. Whoo Hooo!
