The Tilted Cafe
A lovely, cheerful, urban style cafe and bar serving fresh, unique and delicious flatbreads, salads, sandwiches and more in a casual dining atmosphere at Lake Chatuge in Hiawassee Georgia.
For the last several months we have driven by The Tilted Cafe in Hiawassee and we consistently saw a small crowd of people out on the front deck under the brightly colored umbrella’s. We were curious and wanted to give it a try so this week we took my in laws to a late lunch there.

We loved the casual feel of this cafe… old reclaimed wood tables of various heights and styles with a brightly colored flower in the center of each one, a wait staff that was prompt and friendly (ask for Orlando, he was outstanding!!), adorable artwork and bright colorful touches plus free to play arcade games all over the place. ;)

We arrived late in the afternoon and between 3-5 p.m. and they were serving a limited menu of flat breads and salads. We wasted no time and placed an order for 3 different Flat Bread Pizza’s and two salads plus a few beers and cocktails to round it out. AHHHMMMAZING. Fresh ingredients, piping hot, perfect crust, yummy melty cheese… it was outstanding in every way possible.
Tuscan Artichoke - Chicken, Salted Ham, Havarti, Mozzarella, Arugula, Fig Balsamic Drizzle
The California Chicken (Pesto, Grilled Chicken, Bacon, Avocado, Roma Tomato, Mozzarella, Red Onion and Southwest Drizzle
Neapolitan - San Marzano Tomato, Basil Pesto, Mozzarella & Parmesan.
Plus the Woodland and Arugula and Pear salad.
See the menu below… there were so many amazing items to choose from and we can’t wait to come back again during the regular lunch and dinner hours to try all the other items on this menu. This will be a stand out favorite for my family.
